Brussels, March 10, 2023: The Wholistic World Innovation Trophy, WWIT, successfully launched its third season with high quality line up of jury board members:
- Vasilisa Marinchuk, managing director of the Democracy4All Conference in Barcelona, is the new jury president.
The other new members are:
- startup and innovation expert Ingrid Vasiliu-Feltes representing the Americas,
- Thierry Watrin, Advisor to the Rwanda government, representing Africa,
- Robin Eckermann, a celebrated telecommunications expert, representing Australia.
Also on board, as in previous seasons, are the executive media analyst Maria Rua Aguete for Europe and editor in chief Rini Mukkath for Asia. The academic WWIT partner VUB continues to be represented by Wendy van den Broeck.
Gülden Türktan, Founding President of the WWIT Jury Board, now will head the newly formed WWIT Alumni group.
Candidates for the WWIT again will be nominated independent of the board members by their networks. The organizations involved include the Institute for Science, Entrepreneurship and Investments for the Americas, the Center Blockchain of Catalonia globally, business intelligence group Omdia for Europe, the Rwanda Development Fund for Africa.
The new 2023 WWIT laureate will be announced again within the Democracy4All Conference to be held on November 9 and 10 in Barcelona’s Casa Llotja del Mar.
